hey everyone,as many of you guys know i have really struggled with blood sugar problems as well as low haemoglobin, slipped disks etc well the endo has finally found out whats wrong with me:I have a very low level of tesosterone and a high level of cortisol, this means that my body is cstabolising and not building muscle therefore i am always battered and my legs hurt. The muscle wasting/no muscle growth also lead to me having little core muscle and therefore slipped disks! It also explains the low haemoglobin (linked to testosterone) and the blood sugar issues (cortisol). They are looking at my pituaitary to see why this is happening but soon we can start treating it, then i'll be kicking all your arses!thing is as of yet we havent found out why it happened yet there is supposed to be a link between cortisol and overtraining and low test and low sat fat, has anyone got any knowledge about these (Dr Palmer?)

At least knowing what the problem may mean that it can be remidied. I had a lot of back trouble, had x-rays & lots of visits to hospital & various experts proding me, best they could come up with was giving me more and more powerfull painkillers. I went private eventually & a very good osteopath got me doing exercises to build up my lower back muscles which meant my lower spine was better supported and could take more stress. Also - Lots of Guiness might make you better !

Definitely a forward step. As you say, something to look forward to if you can start getting a fair payback for the training effort you put in.
