Hi all,I have a Polar 725 with power monitor. Depending on how I ride I can get a power index between 15% and 30%. Polar say this gives an indication of how smooth your pedalling is (I assume it's related to power variation over a complete turn of the pedals). Question is, what is a good PI? What should I be aiming for?cheersJimmo

no idea!I generally don't bother with it... because I can never seem to work out how it works. some day I felt i pedalled well and it comes up poorly, some days it's great. I prefer using L/R balance- and making sure my cadence sticks pretty rigidly to wherever I am in my training. If you can stick to 50/50 at say, 90rpm for long periods of time you should have a pretty good pedalcycle anyway.Back onto PI, my averages are generally between 12 and 16. hope this helps.

12 to 16? You're well weak! I can do 95-99!
