Oakleys over priced.Don't agree. My first M-frames lasted for ever, like eion I lost em and I have had them for about 9 years ish (getting old and the memory is not what it used to be) So thats great value for money.I have a new pair of M-frames, I lost one of the arms and Oakley sent me a complete new frame F.O.C., plus they re-aligned my E-wires for free to. Excellent Service, good lifetime = good value 4 money!

I've been pretty happy with my bloc stoats. Abot £35, fit my face well, don't let water in around them (unlike some of the wrap around design shades i've tried) The only problem is that my ones are too dark for night rides! Are expensive shades really that much more scratch resistant? I seem to put big scratches in shades within 6 months of getting them, from all the flying rocks and gravel. I'm hesitant to buy an expensive pair of shades, cos (a) i'll lose them and (b)i'm worried i'll scratch them, which makes them pretty useless for riding.

Dave FSR, Smiths scratch pretty easily, its their one negative (if you get the frames really mucky then grit gets in and as you remove a lens it gets scratched).FWIW Brasso etc do a good job of removing scratches from shades, and watch faces.

Not trying to scaremonger or put business the way of the pricier manufacturers, but my safety glasses in my last job didn't look like" they distorted either, but I got headaches all the time when I wore them. Optician said that it was the glasses - got a different brand, problem went away. You only get one pair of eyes, and eyestrain *hurts*..."

The reason I went for oakleys was the great stuff I heard about the service. I'd rather pay £70 once (for fantastic lenses, too) than £20 five times.

Caroline, I agree with you about headaches- especially from safety glasses. I usually find it's the fit of the frame - not the optics. Pressure in the wrong place.

Yep, i have had problems with headaches from shades before, some old Madison wrap around jobbies. Fortunately they came with two different arm options. Unfortunately the ones that fit ok didn't fit with my helmet, a Giro Exodus. Bought some new shades in the end.

Oakley M frames. Try all the cheap shit then buy a pair, OR just buy a pair. Simple really.

Basically, who has M-Frames who doesn't love them?Quite.Sunglasses for life (unless you're careless, stupid, and full of regret like me and you lose them).

who has M frames and would ever admit they made a bad decision buying £115+ of shades? ;-)Not that i think they aren't good, though!
