Yeah I'm still pondering. I tried a Genesis Skyine at my LBS. Nice and light, cheap looking mudguards need a track cog and lockring to make it fixed. I like the look of the Pearson Touche. Can't try before I buy but it wont be the first time I've bought remotely.  I dont think the Langster can take full mudguards so that would put me off that option. The Trek looks quite good not sure about the geometry or the chainguard. mmm  decisions decisions.  I'm leaning twards the Touche but not sure what set up to go for.

Got a Genesis Day 00 for commuting - excellent bike and great VFM. Leave it locked-up outside work every day.

Hi Tom the revolution looks like a good bike thanks for your suggestion. I prefer drop bars to the flats though. Dont like Edinburgh bikes after the manager in the Aberdeen shop fobbed me off when I returned some faulty items. I swore never to darken their doors again.

I'm advertising a Pearson Touche for sale at £420 with upgrades. It's as good as new in black size 58, which the shop admits measures more like a 56. At over 6-feet tall recovering from an excrutiating spinal injury, no prizes for why I'm selling this brilliant bike. So if it's your size, please get in touch. The bike has carbon forks, seat pin and SKS guards plus racey deep-section rim wheels shod with brand new Continental Ultra Race 25c tyres. The ergo bars fit in a 110mm-long ITM Forged-Lite Luxe stem fitted with Cane Creek levers operating Tektro R536 brakes. The saddle is a Fizik Pave CP. It's geared with Shimano freewheel and a fixed cog. So ready to go either way.
