Hi a newbie here so please be gentle I have a campag mirage triple on my bike and would like to change it to a compact I was looking at a FSA Omega chainset Is this possible ? and if so what other parts would I need ? Thanks for any help

New BB Of course and maybe a change of front mech.That is all really.

I'd stick with the triple, you don't know when the alps or pyrenees might call.

Cheers for the replies ALMAC - Thanks chainset comes with new BB will look at a front mech eliot coolican - the alps and the pyrenees are always calling , the reason to get away from the triple is that I am rubbish on hills and always end up bailing out so was working on the if you haven't got it you can't use it method

being massively exhausted 2/3rds of the way up, you see a sign saying 11km to the summit and the road suddenly steepens.( col d'aubisque,Tourmalet, stelvio will all fit the bill).
