Paul's right Josh. Females are the route of all evil and will destroy your life given half a chance.
If you really want to get into training more buy a few books on the subject (or get down to the library for free). That's what I did so I know have my yearly plan worked out showing me what I need to do each week with the results I should get. Set yourself a few goals and steps on how to achieve them.

Josh: I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt so here's a bit of advice. It may be the naivety of your tender years but you do seem to be trying too hard to be 'one of the boys', this comes across as immaturity or deliberate trollism so be careful what you say otherwise you will continue to receive sarcastic replies. There are many cyclists on the forum with sons of your age or older, we have many years of experience and are happy to pass it on. There is a difference between being mature for your age and trying to be a smart-Alec which only gets people's backs up. Ask sensible questions and you will receive sensible answers. Remember it is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
It's not your destination that counts, it is the glory of the ride. (apologies to Edward Monkton)
