Two offerings from Dutch titanium specialist, Van Nicholas: the flagship Astraeus, which we saw at Eurobike, and the entry-level level Ventus.

Does the ventus replace the mistral?
Or is it more of a sprinter than the mistral?

All looking good, hoping a Chinook in my size is reduced soon

Hi Karl, I made a request to Van Nicholas on your questions above, and got this answer from the company founder, no less!

"The Ventus will indeed replace the Mistral and Euros frame. It will be a combination of the 2. So the Ventus has the best of 2 worlds really in one package. Higher end fininshin of the Euros frame at the very attractive price the Mistral stood for in 2012. And will also be available with customizable components."

    Hope this helps!

    All best,
    Tim

I like the idea of a life time warranty, meant to be a comfortable ride and it's shiny.....

They can break. Badly. And every fecker's got one

Ti will last forever, even if it's run over by a car.

Good ti maybe but some of the welds on some of the cheap stuff does not inspire confidence.
