It never ceases to amaze me that I'm taken by surprise how suddenly the nights seem to draw in given it is 2 minutes every day after the summer solstice, must have a short memory! What's even more amazing is that it happens in reverse in the spring - incredible.

And with the appalling weather this year, I feel like I've only just packed the tights and long sleeve jerseys away and I'm already thinking about getting them back out

Be positive sounds like SAD is setting in already. It will be reasonable up until the end of October, there will be some warm days yet, and I just have to get through November which is the most depressing month for me. Then its snowboarding season...hurrah so once the nights start to draw out properly and it is consistently warm again for enjoying cycling properly I can survive. Happens every year!
