    New Bike Advice

    Hi Guys

I'm looking to upgrade from my trusty Carrera to a bike costing up to £1,000, what would be your advice on which bike to buy?

I should also add that it will be sometime in the new year, but thought a bit of research would help now?

I was thinking of a boardman Team or a Ribble Sportive, but am aware that there may be other bikes out there that I've not even thought of

    Thanks

To be honest - it depends on what style of riding you do - commuting or race etc and what you want in the future.
There are many bikes and all have different bits that could make you say "yes" or "no" to each bike.
Your best bet is to go to a local bike shop and look at them in the flash and take then for a test ride to see how you feel on a bike.
Then you can come up with a short list and we can move from there.
Remember - a bike aint like anything else - its to last you a long time and has to be comfy and relaible and maybe look good as well.

Thanks for the link something to look at and ponder about

I plan to use my Carrera for work still, with my new bike for going on rides, sportives and maybe to work if I have a problem with the Carrera.
