    Post Hello from another newbie.

Greetings from Peterborough from another tea belly that's decided that at the age of 35, it's time to do something about the size of the waistline.

Although I've not ridden at all for a good few years and only having ridden cheap and heavy "mountain bikes" before that, getting on a proper road bike will be a new experience and whilst I'm fully aware of the health benefits that come with cycling, there's a whole other more personal reason for getting back in the saddle.

I'm picking up my new bike and riding gear on Saturday and hoping to get out on the bike on Sunday for a few miles. I'll be looking to build up to doing serious weekend miles and keeping up a good level of training miles during the week (as work allows).
