    Cervelo S2

I think I'm going to buy the cervelo s2 frameset at the weekend but have a question. I will be buying an ultegra groupset to use on the bike so my question is - can you wire the ultegra 6750 shifters under the bar tape. Otherwise I don't think I'll get the frameset because it looks very messy with cables flying all over the front end and into the top tube!

Yes 6700 shifters can be wired under the bar tape. However I did notice Shimano have a disclaimer on internal frame wiring. It makes me think electronic group sets would be best for these type of frames.

Yea but I don't have di2 money at the moment and the s2/3 frame requires drilling to accommodate the di2 kit. If you have a look at the ics3 routing its only very minimal

S2 has been out for a number of years, predating Di2. It is commonly sold with Ultegra so you shouldn't have any issues setting it up

Tight clearances on the r5. You may be better getting something more old money.

The Cervelo may be a great bike but its not a real world bike for British roads. The clearance between tyre and frame is tiny.
