Well just had a quick go and its like learning to ride a bike all over again lol you have a natural reaction to jump off the bike everytime you get near the edge of the roller ! There us also alot of resistance dont think i will be clipping my shoes in anytime soon!

thats why i bought this so i can ride any time day or night !!

and i am a southern softie lol
Some decent rain gear and a set of mudguards probably would have cost less than the rollers and done more for your sanity, I can manage half an hour on a turbo before I'm looking for a beam to hang a rope over. Plus there's something good for the soul in riding in the rain, satisfaction at overcoming adversity and all that.
It's not your destination that counts, it is the glory of the ride. (apologies to Edward Monkton)

Found that I have to keep my cadence higher on the rollers than the turbo as it helps to stay upright and in line.
Burnt more callories as well in 30 mins on the rollers than over 45 on the turbo....strange.
NOT loggin in every and each visit now.

Going to have to BITE someone soon.

Seeing as its a thread about weather I'm admitting to hating my first experience of riding in heavy rain at the weekend.
I am desperate to get out again but got to say I felt really vulnerable in the wet. Been riding a few months and was just getting more confident in my bike and my ability but seemed to lose confidence very quickly at the weekend. It's those skinny bloody tyres!

The contest for "deepest in to the winter in shorts" has commenced. And we are down to only three contestants already. Thank God for hairy legs. integrated insulation.
Cycling protocol dictates that your knees should not be exposed outside between October and March. Especially when your legs are in their hairy winter layer.
