Nearly 650 miles in on the Tri Comps. How have they fared?

I seriously considered these for my "dream bike" build, which starts at Christmas, but in the end I bought Ultremos, and they currently hang in the garage looking very sexy indeed.

Hope I did the right thing.

Sounds like the Johnny Cash song: 'One piece at a time'! Most people start with the frame but there you go. I'd say poor choice, Michelin Pro 4 rule OK!
It's not your destination that counts, it is the glory of the ride. (apologies to Edward Monkton)

Mmmm. I've read a couple of reviews that included the Michelins and they always seem to come third. Mind you, there have been plenty of times in my life when I would have been pleased to come third!

I'm disappointed with you Mike, that is not good English: you can't have something always coming third in two reviews, they would be third in both, you'd need at least three reviews for them to always come third. Anyway, reading the review of the Vredesteins above I won't be buying any, at least the Schwalbes are better than those. However, if I thought Michelin were in third place behind anything I wouldn't have been riding them for the past 45 years - well not the same set obviously.

I hang my head in contrition cb, but in exchange for a minute of your time.

My 8-year-old Goldie has been suffering from an infection in his front feet which manifests itself as raw, inflamed patches on his pads and the occasional interdigital cyst. They are proving remarkably difficult to treat. Our new vet', a thoroughly good man, has tried four weeks ( two separate periods and now two consecutive ) of Clavudale 500mg. After two or three days of two tablets daily the symptoms begin to disappear, the raw patches on his pads heal and he is more confident on his feet. But then they reappear even though we continue the medication.
We are also bathing his feet in a weak solution of Hexarinse three times a week and trying to avoid walking him on gravel, stones etc:
He shows no signs of trouble on his back feet and does not lick or bite at the troublesome areas.

    Any ideas?
