UK road cycling event near Manchester

Hey,
I am planning to participate an event next summer in UK;
- distance around 60-100miles
- located close to Manchester, or north of it
- time period 1.6. - 31.8.

What would you recommendate? Why?
If anyone is interested to participate a cycling event in Finland we could make a deal, f.e.x. Tour de Helsinki 145km or Pirkanpyöräily 217km.

Try looking on this web site - It list all the Sportives in the UK for each year.

Hey,
This is a good link. I was hoping to find some real experiences. Maybe there is an event that someone would recommend "not to miss" or some which are not worth going (growded routes, bad roads, poor organization...)
If I had only one event, what should it be?
