    First ride!

Posted recently about getting a new bike. Just thought I'd update because I ain't been on for a while. Chose a specialized secteur over the Allez as it seemed more comfortable and just done my first ride on it. I'm in love! What a great bike to ride. Such a different feeling to a mountain bike. Think the bug has well and truly caught. Only did a 10 mile loop but for me that is still fairly good as a start. Just thought I'd share fellas!

Good choice, will stand a bit of upgrading before you buy your next bike.
    Dont forget B=n+1

Glad to hear about the blossoming romance, El busho. There's no way back from here, as FBF's equation indicates! FBF - over to you.

    Its the rules

B = Number of bikes required
n = Number of bikes you have.

    See rule 12
Carbon, without it life would not exist.

Yes I use s-1 for the correct number of bikes to own (where "s" results in separation from your partner). I'm currently at 2 and have only incured raised eyebrows. 3 seems to be a safe bet.

Glad you enjoyed the ride El busho. It will come in to its own when the evenings lengthen - you'll really enjoy it then!

The other useful factor in calculating bike quantities is SC. I'm currently on SC+1.
    (SC = Shed capacity)

    Surely that should be n=[SC+KC+BC+LC]+1

(Shed Capacity, Kitchen Capacity, Bedroom Capacity and Living Room Capacity)
