Lejog 2013

Hi all,

I am thinking of taking on LEJOG later this year, doing it supported, but not wanting to spend the earth. I have come accross the following company.

Has anyone used this company, and can give me some feedback. I have tried other forums and google searches etc. but no luck.

Sounds a bit pricy for the service, but not that I would know any different as I've never done anything like this myself. I am surprised at you traveling over here though to do a tour when you could stay home and do some proper cycling.
Anyway, best of luck.

Proper cycling??? No really, I am moving back to the UK in late spring, early summer, and have always fancied doing LEJOG. If I was staying here, I guess I would do Bordeaux to St. Malo. This does sound more appealing come to think of it.

Someone else was looking at these a couple of months back. You might find the thread if you search for it.

I think the consensus was they they looked a bit mickey mouse, no company address, no landline number, no information about the people running the trips . . . but perhaps that was just my view based on their web site.

The guy that runs it pitched in (so must monitor the forum in some way) and provided a bit more detail. He might turn up again.
