    +1 Boardman. Felt bikes look great but never tried one, as does the Triban 5 from decathlon.

    Make sure that you get the correct size frame. There are plenty of entry level bikes out there to chose from. Keep within your budget, then if you find cycling is not for you less money has been wasted
