You didn't expect to come on here and get unambiguous advice did you Dave? You did? Well welcome to this idiosyncratic forum where no-one agrees on anything but you will learn that I'm always right!
It doesn't matter how many times you fall down, its how times many you get back up that count.

You forgot the Spesh. Personally I rather fancy a Venge, but expect it would kill my back.

The thought's been nagging me CB, if you've got a 'dale, does that mean I've got a 'mac ? So the OP must be looking at an 'ant then ?

if you want a sexy bike to bring out the beast in you then get a Cipollini RB1K...in camo....much more back killing than a venge

At risk of being hypocritical I wouldn't want a Spesh because of the same reason I wouldn't want a Giant - too common. Now of course Cannondale is hardly a niche operation but as originally stated, I went to the shop looking for something a bit different than the main stream primarily Storck. That i came home with a SuperSix is testament to how good it is and how I didn't allow my heart to rule my head.

We are still talking about bikes not computers here aren't we? Actually Cannondale have traditionally been abbreviated to 'dale, I've not heard that happening for other makes other than Specialized although as you've started we could make it a trend.

I actually tried one in blue camo during my bike testing and it was surprisingly comfortable and very responsive. But there was a 6 week waiting list and the 'dale was sitting there begging me for a home so being a bit softy I couldn't resist.

Italian bikes make you more attractive to the opposite sex, its why my wife bought me a Canadian one.

Never heard anything bad about them from keyboard warriors, never ridden one either.

The name sounds boring. Well, you did ask...
