I thought this was going to be another Sagan thread.

On topic, I do not want a new bike, but would like some new wheels... whizzy 40-50mm Carbon jobs.

I yam in the happy state of not only wanting no new bike but no new bits either. Of course, an advert may enter my eye and pollute this perfek mental state.

I likes cycling, see? I hate shopping. That's for girlies, isn't it Girlies who want new frocks, shoes and handbags ... all the time. :-)

I'm in the state of not 'needing' any new bits but that doesn't stop me 'wanting' them. Part of what got me through the purgatory of the weekend was the eye candy of my new bars, stem, Dura Ace gruppo, helmet, shorts and jersey (all essential upgrades of course not just for the sake of it). When it was becoming hell I just looked down and remembered how lovely my bike was.

As for shoes, my everyday/work shoes are worn out and years old but I guess I'm like a girlie when it comes to cycling and running shoes, ski and snowboard boots I love getting new ones but then they're sports equipment really not just shoes/boots!
It doesn't matter how many times you fall down, its how times many you get back up that count.

Dan Tungate is, I believe, about to list his splendid Canyon Aeroad... be a great bike for someone.
