Thought I'd come back after having the Trek a while now...

The tyres it shipped with are pieces of junk! Literally dangerous!

The Isofix or whatever it is at the seatpost junction doesn't do a facking thing except squeak.

The SHIMono BB has already gone with yet more creaking.

And its really slow for reasons I cant even work out.

Other than that it's cracking! haha

Have my old Powers in 25mm on there now, down a rutted road my Sunday Best (also on Power 25s) easily provides the smoother ride, despite the supposed vibration zapping gimmicks the Trek is 'spose to have. Must vouch for hydraulic discs though, will never by a rim brake bike again.

Have to admit the difference between my Madone and the Domane is light years.

the dampening on the roads around her on the Domane is great compared to the filling shakers ride of the Madone. It basically almost glides over the rough asphalt.

It also seems that the Domane is quicker - or I'm fitter now - as beating all the times of the Madone on segments now.

I’ve got carbon fibre ones though yeah?

Mine is a low end Alu version. It’s not as smooth over the lumpy road as my CF Sunday best.
