Joking apart I nearly had a nasty accident on the turbo a while ago, after a hideous 20m test. Collapsed on the bars, then fell sideways, narrowly missing the corner of my desk!

Close one PRS. I reckon a fall off a stationary trainer could easily end up with a nasty injury. Especially if clipped in and the force of the fall causes the bike and trainer to flip up...plus there's a few sharp corners close to where I have the trainer set up.

I've actually had a couple of very brief dizzy spells since starting to train again. Just a little wobble on the saddle but have been able to carry on without issue. Have been pushing it a fair bit on some rides. Probably be a lot more sensible to gradually increase the effort.

Tonight for example...planned on doing 10 laps of the Watopia volcano, which I did. Also planned on alternating efforts between laps. High intensity, followed by moderate, rinse and repeat. Only problem was I smashed it a bit too hard on the first high intensity lap. Wasn't able to match that one for speed and then started to fade after 40 minutes. Managed to complete it, but it would've made more sense to build up the efforts in order to finish with the best one.
