    I can only imagine the salt gets into places ..like the bolt that holds your callipers...crown race bearings, bb bearings...just the small bits really.
    ive only 1 road bike..( and half bike for zwifting..lol)... so come spring time I strip the whole bike down , regrease all and replace parts if nessary

    Yes, just wondering. They don't grit too much round us just a swift dusting on main roads.

    Whilst on the subject of salt...

    When I was out riding earlier, some fella threw sodium chloride at me.

    That's a salt.
