    Cycling calendar

I'm looking at a cycling calendar here:
    http://www.cyclingnews.com/road/races/calendar/

The first section mentions Major races, which is followed by the All Races section.

The Major Races section features only 4 races:
Tour of Abu Dhabi, Omloop..., Kuurne.... and the Tour de France.

Isn't it a somewhat weird selection of MAJOR races (obviously apart of TdF). What about Giro and La Vuelta, then what about Paris Roubaix?

Am I missing something or the selection of major races on the website makes little sense?

By the way, this is my first year of actually following cycling events and am loving it. Usually watch the races/highlights on Eurosport / youtube. From All Races section, which other races are usually interesting attracting all the best cyclists?
    Thanks

You might get more joy with this...

The category shows the status of the race, World Tour status=> the best riders...

On the cycling news calendar it only shows the next few major upcoming races for that month (the month you look at it) and the TDF which always sits there.

the rest of all the races are then listed by month underneath.

    Confusing I know.

The media obsession with Le Tour!!

The season starts properly this Saturday with Strade Bianche - what a race that is!

This my favourite part of the season - Strade, Milano, Ronde, Rouxbaix, Liege - can't wait.
