    What's your resting heart rate?

The other night I was getting ready for some zwifting, the lap top was already loaded and I was just putting on my shoes .
and there on the screen was my heart rate...so I stopped and watched it for min to see how low it would go

    69/70 bpm

the highest I've got it up to this year is 189bpm

i find it shocking that Vamps got his around 250bpm today.?

I'm not sure Vlad's heartrate is accurate...unless he has a pre-existing condition. It's probably just interference or dodgy connection on the HRM.

As for resting heart rate. I can get my heart rate down to the low 40s fairly easily. Prior to riding on the trainer, I can get it to low 60s with controlled breathing.

Been using an HR app on my phone for about 4 years now - I go as low as mid 40's when fit and normally for the last year been about 51 - 55 when sat watching TV after a meal.

My normal max HR is about 196.

Today - something was up - must be having the 2 hearts and a lack of darkness (too much sun).

On a side note - I also have an ectopic heartbeat - one heart beat has a double tap every 5 beats or so, as its running low. DR's said nothing to worry about as fit people have this.

55-57 true resting, can see around 60 sitting on the turbo and rebooting Zwift.

    Seriously doubt Vlad saw 250.

So if Nicks is low 40's, Vamps is low 50's and Marty's is mid 50's.....then mine is too high?? For a 45yo??

I follow a pro on strava and posts his heart rate. Amazeballs although yesterday in the tour of Catalunya he averaged 147 bpm. Seen him do efforts on zwift averaging 99 bpm where I was more like 140,150.

I take it all with a pinch of salt.
My resting HR is 60-65bpm but as soon as I sit on the bike it rises to 80-85bpm(excitement?)According to the calculations my max is 170bpm so 80% of that is 134bpm.If I ride at 134bpm I’m pootling along at 10mph.I tend to spin along at around 155-165bpm,which is comfortable, and I’ve hit 195/200bpm On climbs but still feel ok.
A lady I ride with panics if she hits 160bpm despite being able to talk/breathe ok.
I don’t really bother with the HRM anymore

Boxy think you should test your resting HR first thing in the morning.
I noticed vamps HR peaked at 215 other day and thought dodgy monitor
