#tech nerds...how can you do a smart turbo ride from your garmin?

    Just thinking ahead...next week is daddy's day...pfft!
other than Mother's Day...this is another day I can't ride...I would love to do the London to Brighton again...it passes me within 1/2 mile.
This year I have my ST. ..so at least I'll be riding ...so I'm thinking wouldn't it be cool if I could do the London to Brighton from my garmin via my wahoo.
    can it be done?
    if so how

Not sure if I understand what you're trying to do but here're some suggestions on how to convert a route to a workout on Zwift.

If you can pair your Garmin with your ST, you should be able to simulate a course/activity from your Garmin through the trainer.

Have a look here for instructions:

I used to use Tacx Trainer Software which has a Google plugin which made it possible to do virtual rides for things like Ventoux, Stelvio, AdH and TdF stages. It's pricey, although I managed to blag a free license after repeatedly complaining to Tacx, but the Google plugin costs extra and is only valid for a year.

Make sure the ride is uploaded as a virtual ride though. A ST ride is very easy to identify and flag.

Well, riding a turbo trainer in this weather shouldn't be allowed anyway

Who wears the trousers in the Boxie household?

I think it's about time you put your foot down Boxie...you know the foot covered in a pink overshoe

If you can't go for a ride on Father's day, then something is seriously wrong. It's your day, and quite frankly your right, to have one day to do whatever you want. You need to stand up for yourself and tell the missus that you're going out for a ride*

*Good luck with that...I'll come and see you in intensive care...if I'm allowed out that is

Can’t you just GoPro your ride, plat it back through the tv, then pretend your climbing and ting.
    Bit like me on Zwift
