    Second biggest question in cycling....

    Do you shave/trim/wax your guns?

I generally trim them so they look done on the bike and when I'm off, there are signs I have hit puberty and can be grown back in if needs be in a week!

I get my missus to shave them for the big events, for the record.

    Just. No.

I find shaving my face tedious enough without introducing an extra layer of annoyance.

Besides if word got out, my non cycling friends would have me lampooned.

Nothing marks out a mediocre cyclist like having shaven legs to "look more pro". As The Donald would say, sad.

Add your entry to the poll! Only time I felt emasculated was when I did a Team endurance 12hour go-kart event, proper outdoor affair with the karts that need push starting. Was the most physically demanding thing I have ever done. Anyways, rocking around there with shaved legs I did feel a little uncomfortable given the company I was in.

I generally feel proud though. I am always tanned though, would look grim if I was pasty white.

I will say though that shaved legs do look better but really can't see the point for non-pros unless you really think it actually helps the cycling.

My main concern is where do you stop? Do you end up with 'hairy shorts' sans bibs? Do you get stubble?

The reasons pros do it are to make it easier to clean up after injury, and so massage hurts less.
