    If the idea is to lose a few lbs, I think it really means fasted (ie. no pre-ride banana) with some coffee to stimulate metabolism... but, due to the nature of your studies, you probably know it better than me

    I know, hence why I still rode with my usual intensity. Plus I took on more food at the cafe.

    I will have a proper go at a fasted ride soon though.
