We've already had the third: who has a Sunday roast?!

In answer I don't name my bikes or my cars and they don't have a gender they are 'it'. Heck I don't even name my cats they are: black cat, mummy cat, tabby cat, fluffy cat and little kitten; just to identify them.

It doesn't matter how many times you fall down, its how times many you get back up that count.

You are a specialist in the field, Boxxy. Have remembered that for the purposes of differentiation on Strava my roadbikes do have names:

Giro - My first ever road bike Pina F3:13 bought secondhand from a nut at work

D'Italia - My second road bike, built specifically for me from a frameset, 'Nago V1-R

StarTREKkers - My first non Italian bike in 10 years, daily hack, it does the job

All my cars are female, but never been named as I'm not 8 years old and they don't feature on Strava.

I bought my 'best bike' with money left to me by my Mum. She's therefore known as 'Whizzy Lizzy'.

Almost: on occasions they are first born and second born. Seriously, we give names to humans for sociological reasons, I don't go for anthropomorphism for animals let alone inanimate objects. The cats do have names given by the family but apart from one: Bramble - because I found her as a tiny kitten under a blackberry bush when I stopped for a pee on a bike ride and to differentiate from the other black cat, the others are called as above. To be fair black cat, tabby cat and mummy cat are sometime departed but I'd forgotten ginger cat!!!

My nurses insist on giving every waif and stray that comes through the door a name, as said I don't go for this anthropomorphism because for one thing it makes it difficult to make rational and dispassionate decisions about their welfare.
