    Elite Drivo2/Zwift

A mate has just bought an Elite Drivo2 DD Turbo and is having trouble with Zwift. It shows as connected and he can ride but there's no resistance. It works perfectly with the Elite software/app.He currently waiting on Zwift support.
Does anyone have one or know anyone who has and are they experiencing issues?

i want to go around and have a go on it but I know I'll want one!

    Has he calibrated the trainer?

Also, how is he connecting? ANT+ / Bluetooth? I've read that there are problems with Zwift's bluetooth connection in terms of resistance.

Fully Calibrated. He's been using Zwift since last Winter and had a smart trainer anyway and knows how to set Ant+ up etc but fancied a Direct Drive and got it for a good price with discounts.I think it has to be a Zwift issue!

Perhaps, he could reinstall Zwift (removing all the preferences / (cached) settings) to see if the problem persists.

I believe he's done all that.

    Taco?
The Drivo2 seems to be very highly regarded.RRP of £1,199 is a bit steep though

    Ah Ha.

    I can solve that one.

Its a known issue with Elite and Zwift.

When he logs onto Zwift he gets the little boxes that connect to Power , Cadence, controlabe trainer etc.

Under Controllable Trainer - he has to change it to the one that says - Elite FE-C Trainer.

This will then let Zwift control the trainer.

Also a good thing to get the Power to do the same.

Sometimes it changes back - so best to check on each log into make sure that - Elite FE-C is registered in both Power and Controlable Trainer.

    That's all Folks.

    OH.....

Also - dont connect over Bluetooth - Use ANT+ only.

Mine had all these issues and its easily fixed and now have a great ride using my Drivo. (Star Wars Imperial Walker).
