I'm sure it's just an innocent mistake with picking and/or despatch. In the email, he categorically states the discount is for the frameset, so it should be fine.

It's not like I'm in a major rush to get the build done anyway.

While I was waiting all day for the delivery, I wondered if there was a chance that they would accidentally send me the Team Ribble version of the 883 bike instead of the frameset. Imagine unpacking that for free
