I've just brought a set of these from a bloke in Reading for 750 - really good value. You can have them for 850 if you like. .

(if they are the same one I just looked at on E Bay then they do look ok - only worrying thing is that he has used them for 3 years on the road - that's some mileage. But they look ok - it all depends on the thickness of the brake surface - whats left. The other set on fleabay has a hole in the surface and they are at 900.)

Go have a look and see what you think.

I know a bloke that does real good life insurance.

Never entered my mind, even if it was a steel frame.

I got my wheels off eBay ....6 months old...I got the seller to give me close ups of brake surface , have you got receipts are they buckled etc....
oh mate I got a bargain...the brake surface was still milled...everything was perfect and I even knocked him down in price.
my point is if your going to buy used wheels you don't really want them over two years old....unless they are disc

The brake tracks looked OK in the pics- whilst it said 3 yrs of use, this was summer only though did include quite a lot of Alpine use which was a bit concerning.

After cleaning up my Campag Shamals yesterday to put away for the winter I remembered what great wheels they are and very lightweight... not sure the Enves would have been a night and day different by any stretch.
