    I think that decision was also to do with the fact that the EU are pulling the plug on Diesel vehs, so why build a diesel car in the UK/EU.

    Now if they had changed the engine to an Eco friendly Electric / hybrid petrol - then things might be different.

    I very much doubt it.They're pulling the plug due to uncertainty over Brexit.First nail in the coffin for that plant.....
    I actually worked there as a contractor in the late 80s installing the Press that made the Bluebird.
